Allen L Roland's Radio Weblog
My ongoing theme is always the truth , as I see it , and the exposure of lies, deception and manipulation wherever they exist. I remain firmly convinced that the world can no longer resist its innate urge to unite and co-operate with one another and we are very close to the point where war can no longer be an option if this transformation is to occur. NINE BLUNDERS OF THE WORLD

 Mahatma Gandhi's famous seven blunders of the world, which he shared with his grandson Arun, on their final day together before Gandhi was assassinated, are actually nine with an addition by both Arun and myself. The ninth blunder will most certainly be realized if Single Pay Health Insurance is not passed by the Obama Administration : Allen L Roland

Here is  a list of the seven blunders of the world which Mahatma Gandhi gave to his grandson Arun Gandhi, written on a piece of paper, on their final day together, not too long before his assassination.

This list grew from Gandhi's search for the roots of violence. He called these acts of passive violence. Preventing these is the best way to prevent oneself or one's society from reaching a point of violence.

To the original list of seven, Arun Gandhi added an eighth blunder, rights without responsibilities and I, in honor of the 61st anniversary of Gandhi's death, add a ninth Power without charity ~ which was much in evidence with the Cheney/Bush administration. The failure of Obama to pass Single Pay Heath Insurance would be another classic example of Power without Charity ~ and could well lead to violence, if not voter revolt, from an American public who is demanding it.

 Here is Gandhi's original list of seven with the additions;

.1. Wealth without work

2. Pleasure without conscience

3. Knowledge without character

4.  Commerce without morality

5. Science without humanity

6. Worship without sacrifice

7. Politics without principle

8. Rights without Responsibilities ( Arun Gandhi )

9. Power without Charity  ( Allen L Roland )
