I read a column by Ellen Goodman at work today in my local paper, the Tulsa World.  In the Tulsa World, it appeared under the headline: "Chasing away demons--and finding the North Star."  I am not a particular fan (or foe) of Ms. Goodman, but in this case I found her words moving.

Molly Ivins used a meme in her syndicated column today that is new to me.  She says people are beginning to refer to the Iraq affray as "Dubya Dubya II."  Bears repeating.   Dubya Dubya Two.  Say it with me:  Dubya Dubya Two.
