Bogeyman was caught like a rat in a hole.
Woke up about 5:30 this morning to the BBC reporting on Saddam's capture in or near his hometown, Tikrit, by U.S. Infantry and Special Forces. I wonder who if anyone gets the 25 million dollar reward. The spin from Bremer, General Sanchez, and the Iraqi lapdog would seem to be that Iraqi resistance to the U.S. occupation should have the courtesy to take this oppurtunity to dry up and blow away. The conditions of Saddam's capture do not suggest that this was a man in command at the center of a shadow network of revanchist guerrillas. The conditions of his capture suggest a cornered rat. We shall see soon enough whether or not the attacks against the U.S. led occupation peter out.

Saddam says ahh.
