Dr. Omed and the Cargo Goddess Show and Tell: Solve the Mystery
This is the image of another thrift store find, boon of the Goddess of All Cargo, blessed be Her Name. It is a hand-painted scene of two gentlemen in turbans standing in front of a flowering tree, with text written above and below in what appears to be Arabic or Persian. The mustachioed man in blue on the left appears to be offering the man on the right a tray with a cup and bottle. It’s about 6 inches high and 4 wide. It’s mounted in a frame, from which I have not removed it, for fear I’d do it damage, but if you examine it closely, you can see that there is a bit of bleed through from text on the back side, which leads me to think it is a page from a book.
