Dr. Omed has noted the spread of the meme "Friday Cat Blogging" wherein a blogger posts a picture of his/her personal feline or felines each Friday. For an instance, Brother Jonah at Love during Wartime has been documenting the activities of his cat, Dame Julian, with such fidelity that Dr. Omed suspects some psychological displacement is the cause of this apparent obsession. Now, Dr. Omed is a civilized man, and therefore has cats about the house, but I would like to introduce a slight twist on this meme. I have a black plastic rat I purchased at the "Big Lots" store for 99 cents. In honor of our all too fearless leader I have dubbed this rat George W. Ratbastard, and I hereby institute a new meme at the Tent Show, that of Rat Friday, and will document the entirely premeditated and carefully arranged adventures of the aforsaid George W. Ratbastard. AT LA LANTERNE Brother Rob at Emphasis Added recently discovered the Nun of the Week via his referers page, and posted a notice of and a link to it. We thank him kindly and grant him Perpetual Indulgence for his charitable act in regard to the Sisters of Perpetual Oblation.  Our associate Mr. Strofeda, perhaps in reaction to Rob's post, and the comments appended to it, has composed a commentary on the NotW, and it has been duly posted to his page on the Tent Show, La LANTERNE, still smoking.
