GRENDEL'S RANT-O-GRAM As I watched and listened to the convention, I became most deeply angry during soundbytes and interviews of some of the delegates. It took me a little bit to figure out what was making me so mad at them (in particular), but I think it was this: my hindbrain was identifying them, before the conscious mind could put words to it, as the same people who voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980, AND THEY HAVEN'T LEARNED A GOD DAMN THING IN 25 YEARS! 9:35:23 AM    comment []
