Dr. Omed would like to note the passing of Frank Gorshin, the superb mimic and actor. He had a long and varied career but to me he will always be the Riddler, one of the foes of Batman and Robin in the TV series that played in the late sixties. Gorshin played the part with lithe and witty manic grace. Jim Carrey didn't even come close in a very bad Batman movie. I'm dating myself but when I was eleven or twelve, and my brother was five or six, we watched every episode religiously, except that watch is too sedate a verb. We bounced off the walls and each other, pummelling the air, the furniture, and of course each other, emulating every BIFF!, BAM!, and BOOM! Drove our mother, well, bats.
