Image from the film Fireflies: River of Light I saw my first firefly of the season last night. No, I don't mean the Josh Whedon tv series/movie though I am looking forward to that as well. I always glad to see the fireflies, though they herald the arrival of hot weather. I have lived another year, survived the viscisitudes of Crowtime, and now come the fireflies, little dashes of light in the dusk, creatures writing advertisements of hunger and desire on the dark of night.
