THE SEVENTH DAY ATHEIST AZTEC BAPTIST ALMANAC
His Loveliness the Pope, the Reverend and Doctor Omed, would like to remind all Pilgrims, Seekers, and Dancing Elders that today, the 3rd of July, is the day of the Green Corn Dance. This is a festival originating with the Seminole Tribe. Today we dance to celebrate and give thanks to the Lady for the first harvest. Whether we shuffle and stomp, cut the rug, or step into the spin of the universe like a Sufi devotee, we will dance, even if we have no feet. And we will give thanks, baby, because we are one step ahead and we are bringing in the sheaves, and I ain't talking about corn on the cob.
Dr. Omed was out doing the Lady's work this morning, 'til my wife Els woke up and demanded breakfast. No pics, alas, we are again having download problems with our one functional dcam. It may be that others will take pictures for me.
Remember, when you step out your front door, the world is spinning, you are waltzing with it, and you have been given that grace. Don't waste it.
