Grandmother Litany
Mother, mercy.
Maid, mirror of grace, have mercy.
Holy Crone, mother of the motherless, have mercy.
Grandmother, Mother may we, let us please come into your house.
House of comfort, House of dread, Home to all, and to all a good night.
House of doubters, Home to truth. House of believers, Home to shadows.
House of laughter, House of howls. Home to all, and to all a good night.
House of sinners, Home to the pure of heart. House of the vessels of destruction, Home to honor.
House of starry nights, House of moons, Home to all, and may all find the light.
House of the joyful noise, Home of drunken spirits. House of the damned, Home of the last come first.
House of blood, House of cold counsel, Home to all, may all fight the good fight.
House of grace, Home to mystery, to Grandmother's House we go, singing all the way.
Grandmother's House has many rooms. and room for all.
Home to all, always warm, merry and bright. Grandma keeps the hearth fire burning always and amen.
Ark of the broken covenant, Ark of dust and ashes, Dark womb, Holy Crone, you receive us back. Always and
Amen.

It is here, my daughters, that love is to be found not hidden away in corners but in the midst of occasions of sin. +++ To reach something good it is very useful to have gone astray, and thus acquire experience.

The eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you. +++ The members of the body which seem the weaker are the most necessary, and the members of the body which we think dishonorable, we clothe in abundant honor, and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. +++ There should be no schism in the body.

Let the poor brother rejoice that he is exalted, but let the rich one be thankful that he is brought low, because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun no sooner rises with a burning heat, but it wither the grass, and the bloom falls, and the grace of its flower perishes.

The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. + + + Hell and Perdition are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

I spit on fools who fail to include Breasts in their metaphysics, Star-gazers who have not enumerated them Among the moons of the earth...
They give each finger Its true shape, its joy: Virgin soap, foam On which our hands are cleansed.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Pater noster, qui es in caelis: sanctificetur Nomen Tuum; adveniat Regnum Tuum; fiat voluntas Tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra. Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie; et dimitte nobis debita nostra, Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris; et ne nos inducas in tentationem; sed libera nos a Malo.
Ave María, grátia plena, Dóminus tecum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostræ.
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto, Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum.
Amen.
