The War's Not Over, So The Bitchin's Not Over
Y'know, just last week, as the WMD justification for Bush's Iraq war was falling apart, and it was becoming clear that the peace was far from peaceful, I heard static in the news about the war bringing Sharon and Abbas to the bargaining table. Now that was their justification for this war: it'll finally bring peace to Israel and Palestine.
Well, I guess that excuse lasted for less than a week.
While we're on the subject of Bush's defense of his little pet war, have you heard his emphatic claims lately that the war has made the world more peaceful? He states it like its a fact, exasperated that he has to point this out to anybody. On the contrary, the world is in a far more precarious position today than it was before Bush's war, yet no one in the "So-Called Liberal Media" calls him on his audacious claim.
