Looney Toons
I heard Newt Gingrich on NPR earlier this week babbling some nonsense
denouncing the State Department's autonomy. I was surprised. Wasn't he
committed a few years ago? Has he been released already? If so, it's
clearly premature, cause he's still a raving lunatic. What the hell are
responsible news organizations doing, putting a microphone in front of
this looney toon?
While I'm on the subject, when are the nice young men in the clean white
coats coming to take Tom DeLay away? He's twice the nut that Gingrich
ever was, and half as intelligent to boot.

Professional Victim
You can usually figure out what Republicans are really doing by looking at
what they accuse their opponents of doing. That way, when you call them
on anything, it sounds like you're saying "I'm rubber and you're glue."
One thing that sticks out to me is their accusation that civil
rights groups are "professional victims." What is Rush Limbaugh if not a professional victim? He's constantly
whining that everyone else has "special rights" and that he, as a straight white male, is
disadvantaged. And he's getting millions of dollars for doing so.
How would you define "professional victim?"
