Shih Chien University

Last weekend, I attended the annual conference of the English Teachers Association of the ROC (ETA-ROC). While I was there, I was given information about full-time teaching positions at Shih Chien University. You may recognize this name, as I have posted many times about positions there. The information I was given runs as follows:

Full-time Teaching Positions Available at Shih Chien University, Kaohsiung Campus, Taiwan

The Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Shih Chien University at Kaohsiung, Taiwan seeks full-time, permanent faculty at the rank of assistant professor in any aspect of English language teaching: TESOL, Linguistics, Literature, and Teacher Training. Applicants must have a Ph.D. by starting time in February or September, 2004. Along with a competitive salary in Taiwan with support for academic research, a full benefits package is offered that also includes round-trip airfare once per year to country of citizenship, subsidized housing and utilities.
