Bleah.

Today, I'm going to order the wedding pictures.  For some reason, this has been the hardest part of the recent wedding process.  I sent all the thank you notes out pronto---that was a piece of cake* compared to this!  Why?! 

I'm afraid of doing it wrong!  I know that sounds lame (oh, yes, I do know it does), but what if I order the wrong pictures that 20 years from now I go:  that's just stupid.  Or the black and white prints don't go well with the color prints. Or some relative is aghast that we used that picture and not another.  Or we spend even more, More, MORE of the money that we don't have and wonder why later.  Or we don't get the picture that later we really wish we did.  Or worse--what if we don't even care 20 years from now. 

Pictures are so friggin' expensive!  (Her cheap ass self rears its ugly head again)  And  I suspect that the CDROM of pictures that we want won't let us download pictures or print them.  So why get digital copies of your pictures?  And the freakin' proof book is $75!

Must get dressed and face the dreaded photographer.  I feel like I'm going to be punished or somehow disapproved.  Bleah. Bleah. Bleah.

*Oh--and about our wedding cake:  I only had one bite!! (And I will get a picture of THAT moment to prove it)  I know "gourmet" couples don't eat their cake after it's been in the freezer for a year, but I can tell you right now, even if I retch for two weeks afterwards, I'm finally going to get a whole piece of our wedding cake! I might even eat more.
