SUNSHINE!  WOOHOO!

Everything's better with a little sunshine.  We cleaned up the house, finished the BUB and the bumper is still on the car!  Life's lookin good now!  We bailed on the outdoor concert being slackers afraid of the rain soaked ground.  But we did have a glass of wine with our friend, the violin goddess, on the front porch of our house beforehand.  The front porch is very good for checking out what is going on in the 'hood.  Basically, our conclusion is that our neighbors have a much more active social life than we do. 

We're supposed to have sunshine for 2 days.  There's a chance of a thunderstorm starting Weds afternoon.  Hopefully,  the plants will have a chance to grow a little bit before the next monsoon storm hits.  I saw a pea growing the last time I was out there. (Yes, "a" pea: one) This summer, we're into solitary veggies--a carrot, a pea, a sunflower.   More tomorrow after the garden has had a chance to grow a bit.
