Blogs I Read
Last night we had a dinner party for our friend Catherine who is moving to Toronto today. She brought over her new violin which was made in 1730. Pretty dang cool. Charlotte, NC is not the easiest city for single people. I know Toronto will be much better. But it's not a happy day for us when our best friend moves. (This is Cole's Mom).
I called the landscaper yesterday. We're ready to get moving on that, although I noticed that the Phase 1 and Phase 2 parts of the landscaping are not completely pulled out of the estimate. And there's a reason why we have Phase 1 and Phase 2! I still need to call the Architects and Interior Designer and settle all that up. I'm not sure I mentioned in here that Dave and I decided that we're going to do a lot of the garage remodel ourselves. We'll need help with installing the windows and the French Door we want. But I think the rest will involve putting up drywall (???) or sheetrock (???) or are those the same thing? and why? I should ask Dave these things before I blog. It's like when I told the landscaper that a the neighbor's had rented a TomCat to get rid of brush and undergrowth in their backyard. I saw the surprise on his face and then I went "Um.....BobCat." whatever. There was a cat in the name. There was a machine. It was smaller than a bulldozer but of that same genre.
Trip to the new OB/Gynie today. Taking my ovulation charts and a list of questions. Then to work to freak out about how much I have to do.
