Blogs I Read

Give me you tired, your weak, your weary poor spellers, and I will provide them with a blog.

Despite having an advanced degree, I am a poor speller.  I blame autocorrect in MS Word. I acknowledge my external attributions and am not really all that sorry about it. With MS, I just type something close to the word and automatically, everything is fixed.  Unfortunately, this blog software does me no good in that area.

So I appreciate all your searching for Hurricaine Isabelle, and I mourn those searching for Hurricaine Isabel, Hurricane Isabelle or the correct Hurricane Isabel because you have not found me.  I rejoice, however, that others have the same spelling quirks that I do.  If you are searching for info on Izzy, I prefer her to an earthquake.  So far, all we have is cloudy skies and wind gusts.  That's fine by me.

For those of you searching for information on growing cantalope or freezing cantalope, I embrace your enthusiasm for garden fruit and your spelling of my favorite melon.  Starting in the Garden and moving back through August and July, you can learn what we learned growing cantaloupe.  Basically--they don't like continually wet clay and they explode when they are too ripe.  It must be an evolutionary thing.

For the rest of you, thanks for reading despite a lack of spelling accuracy.  For new folks to this blog, check out Cats and Dogs.  It's a diversion, at least.
