"What the hell was that?" my husband asked sitting bolt upright in bed.
"I sneezed," I said innocently.
"That didn't sound natural" Dave replied half asleep and wholly incrededulous.
Granted, it was 2:15 am and I'd been awake for at least 30 minutes by now. And I suppose that it's not very common to awoken by a sneeze. A robust full fledged sneeze at that. I still wasn't sure Dave was awake, but he assured me that he was, and I got the giggles. He was trying to go back to sleep, and I couldn't stop laughing. Then I burped, because, well, that's what I've been doing a lot of lately. That started a whole new round of laughter while my poor husband wondered if I had finally gone around the bend.
Last night was the worst sleep night ever. Up at 12:30 am. Up before 2:00 and remaining is an alert state until 3:30. I finally officially got up at 5:30 for yoga class. A good class, I admit, but I am pretty sure my dog went down and has yet to come back up.
I'm home early from work and hoping to take a nap before the symphony tonight. I really think tonight I might be able to sleep the whole night through. I really hope so.
