Ironic
I have to admit that it was somewhat ironic that after I posted that the doctor said it was ok to sleep on my back, I stopped being able to sleep on my back. I can't breathe well anymore when I'm lying flat on my back. So now I'm in the roll to one side and then roll to the other mode of sleeping. What sucks is that it's more comfortable to sleep on my left side so I only roll to the right side for a few minutes and then I'm back to the left.
One unexpected treat of this is that my rolling wakes up the bun. When I roll from one side to the other, I stay awake for a few minutes until I feel his kicky-kick-kick. I swear that the best thing about being pregnant is feeling him moving around. Maybe when he's whacking me in my ribs I won't like it so much. But it's the best thing now.
Today, we're going to try to finish up the projects from last weekend. Dave needs to paint the new trim and siding on the garage and make a final push to move the dirt out of the driveway. I'm going to finish prepping the new family room. The dude from two owners ago built this room on his own. And although he was a cabinet maker, he did not possess skills and attention to quality in room building. It's not as bad as some of the houses around here....close around here.....but the big gaps between the baseboard, wall, and floor and the wall and the trim are frustrating. Last night I checked that the baby's room is not going to have these problems. Fortunately, this room was not built by him. It may be over 60 years old, but it looks better than that room he built 15 years ago.
Off to do our chores
