Third Trimester

We started the third and final trimester on Friday.  I'll post a new belly shot tomorrow.  I swear I'm getting bigger by the day.  Dave and I are so amazed at how huge my belly is and we can't imagine it getting bigger.  We decided to measure it last night to see how big around I am.  The humorous part of that exercise was that huge as I am, I'm only 3 inches bigger around the waist than Dave is!  And he certainly does not look pregnant!  It's a real advantage being married to a tall man:  you get to feel small even when you aren't!  Despite the fact that I felt huge even when I wasn't pregnant, it's really nice to have your man hold up your jeans and go "look how small these are!  I couldn't even fit a leg in there!"

I don't think I mentioned that at one point, I was wearing his shorts around the house because they fit.  Now they have become too small.  We both look at my former jeans and think how small they are.

The leg cramps are picking up.  Apparently, I have the cat like habit of stretching when I first wake up.  Except that now when I do it, my feet and legs start cramping.  The good news is that I've figured out that in our small bedroom, I'm close enough to a wall that I can, without moving positions in the bed, stick a leg out from under the covers, brace it against the wall, and stretch the cramp out.  People with large, comfortable roomy bedrooms can't do that trick.  HA!  Always looking for that silver lining to living in a small old house!

And speaking of our small old house, I am really digging the new arrangement.  Despite our bed being so close to the wall that the dog refuses to come down my side of the bed, the new master bedroom works.  The new family room rocks.  And the nursery is going to be really cute.  We are enhancing our house's feng shui.  I am really digging the new family room with it's fun, bright color and most of all, it's position in the house.  It's in the right place for a family room to be.  It just feels more accessible and more used.  Of course, it's the biggest "bedroom" of the house, but it really works much better as the family room.

OK.  Off to work.  Two more weeks of school.  Woohooo!
