A picture named Belly Shot Month 7 Upload.jpgBelly Shot Month 7

Well, here it is.  I swear that I still feel like I look bigger than the picture reveals.  I definitely need to start doing more arm workouts before the summer gets here.  My arms are starting to get that look that I haven't been doing that many down dogs lately, which is true.

I'm working at home today and going to the prenatal yoga class at the Y.  That should help with some toning, etc.  I did my squats while working in the garden this weekend which helped stretch out parts.  I've also been doing the advanced version of tailor sitting.  Tailor sitting involves sitting on the floor with one's legs crossed in front, but on the floor not in one's lap.  The advanced tailor sitting is what I've heard called cobbler's pose in yoga.  You sit with the soles of your feet touching while you try to get your knees as close to the floor as possible.  The reason I skip regular tailor sitting and go straight for the advanced pose is that for as long as I've been alive, my knees have always touched the ground.  In yoga class I look around the room (which I know you're not supposed to do) and most normal people's knees are still above their hips and mine are flat on the ground.  I have a very broad body frame and I believe that it helps me with this pose.  I also believe that my broad frame is why my pubic symphysis is all out of whack so early on.

OK.  Off to read and write.  I am SO THRILLED that the semester is almost over.  WOOOOHOOOHOOOHOOOHOOO!!!!
