Name Change
I think it’s come time in this blog to seriously think about a name change. We’ve already added the Baby to make seven. And after adding Simba, we actually number eight right now, and with the addition of another baby, that takes us up to nine. And “And Baby Makes Nine…” just doesn’t have that poetic ring to it.
And, honestly, the current name of this blog “And Baby Makes Seven…” has turned out to be a little cuter than I intended. Cute is nice for other people, but I’m not so much a cute person. I’m too tall, too muscular (or actually flabby right now), and my hair is too curly and frizzy to be cute.
So this is the warning. At my next entry, my blog will have a new name:
This, That, and the Mother Thing
And yes, “the Mother Thing” refers to both the things I will talk about related to being a mother, and, obviously, me. I have no doubt that in my son’s teen years and maybe even now, I’m thought of as the “Mother Thing.”
I have to take a few days off from blogging because I have to take this computer back to work. But look for the new name early next week.
