Thanks to everyone for yesterday's comments about the adoption fair.  We area not going down that path in our immediate future, but as we aren't getting any younger, we thought we should check out all the options!  It does seem scammy and I think buying a book or finding out the process from other friends is a better idea.  And thanks especially for Liz's info on how much her pregnancy has and will cost!  That certainly puts the adoption fees into perspective.  Too bad there is no such thing as adoption insurance!

I'm supposed to be running right now.  I need to get a 13-14 mile run in this weekend.  But it is cold and rainy and after running a wet, chilly 4 miles, I said to myself "Myself, you can do this tomorrow morning and it won't suck so loudly." 

Tonight we're going to an end-of-marathon-season party to celebrate my friends' accomplishments.  I'm sure I'll be inspired for my 14 miles for Sunday morning. Or I'll do it next weekend.
