Even the fine people at the NRO corner are admitting that gays have won. Gay marriage in Canada, and even a gay marriage proposal for yours truly.  Now the Supremes. Now, the following day, there is even this (which Shared Thought pointed me to).

And gay pride is happening outside my window.

I just don't know what to be pissed off about today. It's weird.

DeLillo is one of those novelists who makes me want to immediately drop whatever else it is I'm doing and write a novel. (David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest had that effect on me too but I've soured on him a bit--though it was in part his take on White Noise that turned me on to DeLillo.)

I know what you mean. I'm also terribly aware that DFW said that he couldn't write a novel until he got rid of his TV. I'm terribly afraid that might be true for me.

But what about Buffy! What about movies on DVD?

I keep finding excuses. (And yeah, I know, though I'm in denial, that Buffy is over.)

Working at home in the Castro today, trying to get enough done so that I can go out tonight and enjoy myself without guilt. But there are so many gay-pridish stirrings going out right outside my window...including, apparently, some kind of public judging of potential stars for erotic films. The comments are making it difficult to pay attention to what's going on in the latest build back at work...

Is a very scary thing to do. Also, please tell me I didn't accidentally upload my Theme (minor customization to a provided theme) to the entire world.

I've noticed that a number of people have found my site searching for "American Sodomy Day," which was the title of this short post.

I was more surprised to see that, as of this morning, All Day Permenant Red is in fact the only site listed in the search results for "American Sodomy Day."

Do I get the trademark then? Do I get to formally propose American Sodomy Day as a national holiday?

(Ug...I guess that would have to be an international holiday, otherwise the name would be redundant.)
