Since the area for the posts is narrower, it makes the text for the week much, much longer. But the blogroll was indistinct in the other template, and seemed off-balance.

Update: in spite of my, uh, alternative lifestyle, I'm not great at balancing colors. So if you think the red banner doesn't work, or have any suggestions, please let me know.
