Have to take care of some things around Orange County in the morning. Hope to get up to Santa Monica to the highways gallery to see a show by Carol Es, who's a great painter.

I will alwys love Southern California, not Orange County, but it hit me today I really miss Chicago.

Chicago will always be home.

Went to the LACMA today, and saw some great stuff including my all time favorite Edward Keinholtz Blue Dodge, or back seat Dodge. When the museum bought it in 1965, the LA County Board Of Supervisors went nuts, and tried to close the exhibit, then the whole museum.

The board of trustees held their ground, and thus the exhibit stayed.

Hope to see some galleries tomorrow.
