Even though I worked both the morning show, and Chicago PM on WLS, I went out to lunch, and dinner with friends yesterday. Yes, I was careful in what I had. I've lost 50 pounds, and I don't plan to stop now.
Anyway in talking about politics, and other things, it hit me last night I'm really not very comfortable being put on the left or the right. Let me put it another way.
Even though I have always worn the ID of the left, I feel like much of the left is full of shit.
And the right does have some good ideas.
So what does that make me?
A rebel against any kind of authority, either from the left or the right. Bill Cameron, who I work with on Chicago PM, one called me a nihilist.
How about "free thinker" instead?
Anyone else out there feel this way?
God, I hope so.
In today's Washington Post there[base ']s a story GWB, and his advisers, did not fully read all the vital reports on Iraq.
Is that kind of like trying to put something together without reading the instructions first? Or is it a case of don[base ']t confuse me with the the facts, I[base ']ve already made up my mind?
Does Joe Libermen really think he has what it takes to be the leader of this country? Sadly he does.
