I have only this to say tonight: 100 days since the war with Iraq. No WMDs, and Saddam. Never mind Bill Clinton and Monica! This screw job is worse. Where we lied too? You tell me. 9:08:00 PM     Here's how I am. I hate boredom. I hate the same old same old. Over the weekend I heard Nancy Skinner, who is very liberal, and on WLS my station, is running for the Senate! My first thought was good for her. May be she'll upset the status quo, and inject some excitement in to the race. Then you hear it: why her? She doesn't have any experience. I say screw that. This what art school grads always say about self-taught artists. And their not the only ones who do it. It happens in the lit world, and every other place in this country. It's bullshit! It keeps the every day person from getting involved. "Oh, I didn't go to school! I can't do that." My stepfather had me thinking the same shit for years. It's taken until now for me to realize how full of it these people are. Kids make the best art. Outsiders need to go to D.C. to get this country back on track. You go Nancy! Run, run like hell! 2:31:54 PM     Up at 5 am, and back to the regular shift, with my partner, Eileen Byrne on WLS. We lost another soldier over night in Iraq. Report in the New York Times from the GAO there have been numerous screw ups by the Justice Department using the The Patriot Act. And the Republican Party controls The White House, Congress, and you have to ask yourself what is going on in this country? I wish I knew. P.S. Where are the WMDs? 5:41:47 AM
