The thing I wanted to point out about Kristofferson was he didn't leave the studio after his part of the show was up. He stayed, checked out Crowe's band, and was clapping, and whistling along with the rest of the crowd.
The guy is the best.
In going through my e-mail I came across one from a guy who writes, and tells me how awful I am, and he'll be glad when Don and Roma are back on the morning show.
So will I!
Not having to get up at 3 am.
The thing is he wants to know why I keep saying I'm a "Liberal" and he calls me down, and tells me to stop telling stories about the things I've done and seen in my life. It comes off as bragging.
He may be right about that.
But the "Liberal" thing was said, and I always say it, in a tongue and cheek manner. Yes, I lean to the left socially, but I'm very conservative (please notice I didn't say right-wing) when it comes to state spending and intrusions on our lives.
I'm also tired of government promising what it can't deliver or pay for.
The point in all this is in the world of talk radio, which is now the GOP echo chamber) if you even try to have fun or hint around you might have a view other than the mainstream, and even if you do it in a kidding way, these hard right GOPers come down on you like a ton of bricks.
I though it was the left that was not supposed to have any sense of humor?
It turns out it's the other way around.
