LOCAL ARTIST CONFORMED FOR UK[base ']S FIRST ART EVENT DEDICATED TO SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART

***Inspired Art 2003 line-up announced***

The organisers of London[base ']s first self-taught and outsider art fair have announced the initial forty-two artists to participate in this year[base ']s event.

The artists include world-famous psychic, Uri Gellar; well-known self-taught US artist Anne Grgich; [OE]Outlaw[base '] artists Damian and Delaine Lebas; London-born Prema Sundararajan; Tom Kemp, who has work held at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts and Cologne-born Cordula Ehms.

Self taught art - also known as raw or outsider art (due to its non-mainstream heritage) [^] as its name suggests, is art produced by individuals who have not been [OE]classically[base '] trained.

Jo George, the founder of Inspired Art and a self-taught artist, says: [base "]Inspired Art has an important role to play: to bring a new audience to appreciate self-taught and outsider art while giving these immensely talented artists the public profile deserved by their genius.[per thou]

Sitting here in our room at the El Camino Real Hotel in El Paso. Going to head for the airport, and home in a few hours.

I love Chicago, but I'll miss the desert, and the boarder. I loved this city when I worked here in 73. Never quite got over it, and I still feel the same way.

Oh, where are the WMD's. I also read where the death toll in Iraq is now up to 138 Americans, and that's after Bush's aircraft carrier stunt.
