Let me ask you something: when was the last time you actually talked someone out of their beliefs when it comes to Left vs. Right?
Most people listen to talks radio not to challenge their views, and here another side of an argument, they listen to to have reconfirmed what they already believe to be true.
It's one of the main reasons anyone with a dissenting view point has a hard time on mainstream talk radio. Even if you show them something, and can prove it they will reject it.
It's not what they want to hear.
This goes for both sides of the political debate.
Talk radio is White male driven for the most part. Very predictable, and not much really about true discussion of ideas and solutions.
It's really a gigantic mud slinging festival dominated by the same old same old.
It's a shame. It could be so much more. Thanks God there are some of us who are trying to change this.
But for the most part talk radio is like a gigantic HUAC hearing non stop. At times I can't wait for it to end.
