Went to the doctor, the surgeon who fixed my neck, yesterday and it's back to work today after being stuck here at home for three weeks! I was able to to stop wearing the hard collar around my neck, and go to soft one. Still a pain. But better than having to stay shut in. After talking to the doctor yesterday he scared me. I was in far worse shape than I thought. Now the challenge is to make sure my neck heals right. I should know that in a month.

Read in the Sun Times yesterday the Mayor wants to raise the cost of an ambulance ride by 47%! Having just taken one three weeks ago, he ought to take the money and fix the streets. The ride was so rough you about get beat to death on the way to the hospital.
