I was so tired last night I could barley make it through Chicago PM, and came home last night and went right to bed. I guess I'm not yet over my neck surgery.

Today I stayed in listening to CD's (Tom Russell, Steve Earl, Calexico), and finished reading Luis Urra's Devil's Highway. Forget all the babble about immigration, and the La Frontera, and read this book. I have an advanced copy. The book will be out April of this year. I can't remember the last time I was so affected by a book as I was by this one.

You want the true story about how it is on the border? Then read this book when it comes out. Then make up your mind about immigration.

Oh! Now I have Lefty Frizzell on the turntable. Lefty is THE best!
