I don't keep this blog up like I should. Part of the reason is I'm tired all the time working two shifts on the radio station, and no sooner getting home from Chicago PM, then having to hit the sack to get up at 5:30 am to get ready to work 9-11 am with Eileen Byrne.
For the last two days I have become the "bad seed" of WLS for my views on Iraq, and George Bush.
I believe Paul O'Neil when he says Bush wanted to go into Iraq as early as 2001. I also believe Colin Powell, who said last week there is "no smoking gun" linking Saddam to 9-11. In short to me Bush lied about Iraq.
I backed going into Iraq because against my better judgment I took the bait, hook, line, and sinker, and believed Bush when he said Saddam had WMD's.
Now I'm sorry I did, and I can't keep quiet about it.
I'm also the only one who has been openly defending Howard Dean on a very right-wing talk station.
So now I'm the bad guy. What is it about the neo-cons that they can't stand another point of view? Why the anger and nasty e-mail?
I thought democracy was all about being able to speak your mind. Are neo-cons as bad as, say the hard left?
Was I wrong to think most people would want to hear both sides?
I hope not.
