Howard Dean billed himself as an outsider and someone with no ties to the beltway. Now it turns out Dean has hired a close friend, and advisor, to run his campaign, and he will be out on the trail looking for voters with Al Gore this coming week.

Does anyone else feel ripped off by Howard?

I do. I didn't vote for Gore last time around. It[base ']s not that I don't like Gore as a person, hell I don[base ']t even know him, but all of this media consolidation that has gone on was, and is a product of the Clinton Gore years in the White House. They oversaw the gutting of the ownership rules, and now the whole country is paying for it with radio that sucks.

I wanted a true outsider not an insider.

In his darkest hour Howard has gone to the inside for help. I feel let down and betrayed. I haven't taken the Dean sticker off my car yet.

But I'm close.
