You and your co-host have a promotional spot on WLS in which he said that Kerry did not accuse the US Military of war crimes I believe he's in error. I'd guess your partner probably feels Kerry's attacks upon the military justify his protests and draft dodging during the Vietnam era.
Obviously, I have no personal contact with him --though he provides the public with more details concerning his private life then is necessary or desired. Accordingly, the perspective I have of him is based solely upon his comments regarding his history.
It now appears he[radical]s been miraculously transformed -- he now proclaims his support of the military, law enforcement and he even denounces illegal drug use·! His transformation reminds me of the story of MARY MAGDALEN· from sinner to saint·remarkable!
When he starts one of his I love the police moments, It's evident to me, he's a police officer wannabe. Perhaps, he even wishes he had served this nation in the military however that's between him and his conscience. Nonetheless I can't help but be of the opinion the police officers he admires so much today probably would have happily tuned him up during his time as a draft dodging doper.
Many if not most law enforcement officials probably served in the military and did not have much respect for those who heaped disrespect upon our flag and the men and women who wore the uniform of our military. Today, I'd guess, the police tolerate him because he provides them with a great deal of positive public relations and that's a good thing.
Your partner may be good to his family, friends and dog, a great guy to work with however I can not respect him and probably never will. I hope the article below will allow you to acquaint your associate re some of the charges Mr. Kerry leveled regarding our armed services and war crimes.
