It was a real treat to be on the air today with the Rummy/armour story floating out there. It was fun to hear all the neo-cons making excuses for why the troops didn't have proper armour on their Humvees and other vehicles.
What's the big thing these neo-cons are always screaming about? Taking responsibility for your actions, but not when it comes to this story. It's all the liberals fault. How I tried to ask? Show me the votes of Kerry and Durbin on this subject.
They couldn't.
Like they couldn't let responsibility fall on Bush and Rummy for yet another screw up in the Iraq war where our troops were going to be welcomed with flowers and kisses. It was a treat to hear them squirm and tap dance around their leaders own accountability. Nice way to start the weekend.
