My Dad used to smoke Benson & Hedges 100's. Sometimes he'd forget that he already had one lit and he'd light another.
Now he smokes a nebulizer, filled with albuterol which helps him breathe.Sometimes it makes him sleepy and the machine hisses on and on until I go into his room to turn it off.
My Dad used to drink vodka on the rocks, with one olive. Now he drinks little cans of vanilla-flavored Boost.
My Dad used to eat prime-rib, bloody as possible, with a baked potato (loaded) and a hot house spinach salad. Now he has trouble finishing a bowl of tomato soup.
My Dad used to travel the world, stopping often in Rome & Switzerland to visit friends.
Now he has a mechanical bed and requires assistance to get out of it.
