Oh, those naughty naughty llamas.

I've been up since 4:30. A friend and I hiked southeast from where we thought they jumped the fence from 6 to 8:15. Then we drove northwest for all of a mile only to find them grazing peacefully in a neighbor's pen. They'd been herded in there last night by yet a third neighbor, who thought they belonged to these other people. Well, we sorted everyone's llamas correctly (I didn't even know anyone else had any around here) and mine are home where they belong. I carried a container of oats and they followed close behind me on the gravel road. [ADDENDUM: MY NEIGHBOR AND HIS DAUGHTER AND HER SLEEPOVER FRIEND ASSISTED US IN THE HERDING-HOME PROCESS, KEEPING THE LLAMAS ON THE ROAD HOME.]

It's almost 11 and I finally get some breakfast. They're out lying in their field.
