Today we drove to Goose Lake with a camera... On the way, we checked out the roadside apple tree. Too green, still. I like the way one bough full of apples leans out over the stony creek: ![]() This is the orangey vegetation I was talking about in an earlier post. It's an otherworldly place to hang out, and only about 25 miles north of where I live. [Imagine these as one long panorama, left to right instead of top to bottom.] ![]() Wish you could see and hear the migrating birds. The distant surface was black with them, Canada geese, swans, white pelicans, and then the usual grebes, ducks, gulls, and so on. ![]() ![]() ![]() And the view at our backs, as we faced the lake: ![]() 10:14:50 PM |
