Back in the kitchen after so long away. Dusting off my skills & skillets. This afternoon garbanzos boil for tomorrow's falafels; cowboy-campfire potato-bacon-onion stew for supper tonight. I'm milling steamed pumpkin for those pies we can't live without. Next we'll see about that apple butter project I've put off too long. Cold cold here. In the teens at night. High clouds passing through. Sent brother out for a run with the dogs. Cat Ted warms my lap every time I sit in front of the screen here. New llamas coming this week. We need some geese, I think.
