The Price of Stability by Kjell Hjern It is with a wonderful sense of security that for the past several days I can climb upon the chair by the farthest bookcase thanks to the mending of its fourth leg, which my carpenter brothers have completed. The chair's security is a great joy to me and were it not that because of it I so often forget why I have stepped up on the chair, I would just for the pleasure of getting it repaired smash all the rest of my furniture to smithereens.
