No meetings-with-offspring-in-faraway-places today. As consolation, My brother and I will drive out to seek our fortunes. Go antiquing in New Pine Creek. Look for first editions in Lakeview, Oregon. Maybe buy a lottery ticket. Do something wasteful and impulsive.
It's cold, it's gray, it's evil out there. It's smelly and weird in here. I think today it's better out there. If we see something incredible we'll take a photo and bring it home for feral.
Grin. Think of sunflowers.
