Wondering how Google chose between tax day and Leonardo's birthday (is it?) for their occasional art today. I suppose DaVinci has international appeal.
A day today so full of planned activity I haven't even time to write this. Trip to town: Accountant's office to weep and sign papers; Social Services office to turn in my biweekly timesheet; thrift store, to drop off boxes of unneeded possessions; local newspaper, to place for-sale ads; tire shop, to change off snow tires; stationers, for packaging supplies (I'm out of everything and have six orders waiting to go out); grocery store. That's morning. Afternoon: dump, where I'll leave behind a great pile of stuff--clothesline pole, tables, chairs, ancient barbecue, etc.; post office, where I'll mail away CDs and books.
Things are moving already toward Carolina...
I noticed last night that Grace (daughter of Ruth, mother of Leo and Ted) is MIA, possibly for two days; I haven't seen her about (she's fairly wild and antisocial, so I've become used to her absence in the knot of cats at feeding time). Sometimes they get locked in the garage when I'm not aware. We shall hunt around some.
