New moon September 3.

Set your calendars.

For two weeks we've been saying good-bye; now it's time for rebirth, renewal, new beginnings.

Seed-planting time.

Don't forget.

James over at Love During Wartime has posted a poem today--written by poet and Poetrybay editor George Wallace--so powerful and appropos that it struck me like lightning. Give it a read.

I gave up trying to find a cat to photograph for Friday, so I took the herbwalk-down-memory-lane, below, because I'm feeling a little addled and nostalgic today after a bad night. As the photos upstreamed to feral, though, Greta appeared and flopped down on a step next to me and seemed to say "go for it."
