Is anyone surprised by this?  First Enron, now FirstEnergy.  I doubt that anything will come of this.  Of course, the Canadians are involved, so maybe they'll try to hold them accountable.  Ha.  The lawsuits have started though; maybe this is the new way social legislation will be decided here in America.

Why is it that Martha Stewart is in big trouble, yet Ken Lay has yet to see any jail time?  And is Andrew Fastow actually in jail yet, or is he still in court?

********

I also have one more complaint about the blackout.  During news announcements telling the audience where the power was out, many of them did not mention Lansing.  They prattled on about Detroit (Granted, the situation was dire in that area.  My question is, why did Ann Arbor get power back first on Friday, and Detroit was out until Sunday, even though both cities use the same electric company?  Hmm...), but barely mentioned us.  We are the capital city, and have a major research university next door; aren't we at least worth an occasional mention?  Sheesh!
