A lot of my fellow bloggers are talking about spreading the word on the outing of a CIA agent by right wing-nut Robert Novak.  The agent in question, Valerie Plume, is the wife of Ambassador Joseph Wilson.  Wilson, as you might remember, is the person who disputed the claims of the White House that the Iraqis were looking to buy weapons-grade uranium from Niger.  Many belive that Novak's outing of Plume was revenge against Wilson, and have suspicions that the information came out of the White House.

Outing a CIA agent is a serious crime.  If there was some nefarious plot cooked up at the White House, we need to find out what it was and who perpetrated it.  We owe it to ourselves, our country, and the truth to get to the bottom of this.

Atrios has some great coverage of the Rice shakedown, as well as some very interesting links to yesterday morning's Washington Post story in which "two top senior administration figures called at least six Washington journalists and disclosed the identity and occupation of Wilson's wife," after he had gone public in the New York Times with his version of the yellowcake story.

Those of you who don't think that this whole story is serious should remember how the Watergate investigations started:  A night watchman found a piece of tape over a lock on the main entrance door of the Democratic Party Headquaters.   This was evidence that constituted a break in.

So, if you're a blogger, spread the word!  You can find more information at:

We want to make those bastards get down on their froggy little knees and sing like Michigan J. Frog!  (Oh, and sorry about the pun in the title - I couldn't resist.)
