Ok...welcome to this weblog. I'm new to this world and have no clue about these new-fangled COM-puters but I feel the need to write something I suppose...I don't expect writing anything relating to politics (or music) will change anyone's mind about anything (people can't ever be convinced on anything political that's for sure; it's an ego thing I guess). Of course I'd have more of a chance of reaching people who disagree with me if I wrote a blog at some right-wing media site (there seem to be plenty of 'em)...Eh...who knows?

"The fundamental question is, did Saddam Hussein have a weapons program? And the answer is, absolutely. And we gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in. And, therefore, after a reasonable request, we decided to remove him from power..."

I know President Bush said this a week ago but it seems no one's reporting on it in the mass media...I guess the Kobe Bryant story is more important a national matter than the the fact that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO A WAR HE (SUPPOSEDLY) DECIDED WAS NECESSARY TO WAGE TO KEEP OUR NATION SAFE!

Perhaps I'm preaching to the converted here but why isn't this a HUMUNGOUS story?????? What's wrong with the media? Why were minute-by-minute updates on the Laci Peterson case more newsworthy than a war?

Why does anyone still pretend that George W. Bush is a "real" president?? He can't even keep his talking points straight!!!! Lets's just imagine for a moment if the president were a DEMMIECRAT...do you think Republicans would let him slide on something like this? More likely, impeachment proceedings would have already begun. Why are Republicans given such free reign in the media? How can anyone say with a straight face the there's a "liberal media?"
