Does Russert think GW had what it took to be commander-in-chief when he couldn't answer any questions pertaining to world affairs when running for the job? Once again there's the total hypocricy from the media when it comes to Democrats...Russert tries to make Dean look bad:
"For me to have to know right now, participating in the Democratic Party [primary], how many troops are actively on duty in the United States military-when that is actually a number that's composed both of people on duty today and people who are in the National Guard . . . it's silly," Dean said. "That's like asking me who the ambassador to Rwanda is."
"Oh, no, no, no. Not at all," Russert replied. "Not if you want to be commander in chief."
When Russert interviewed Bush he gave Bush numbers, asked him powder puff questions and let him off easy. Why even pretend to be unbiased then Tim? Why not have a moronic right wing rant show then if you just want to coddle the GOP and crumble the Dems? Perhaps because it helps the GOP more if you PRETEND to be a "real" journalist and not another right wing yes-man.
