More Phlogging, Or

Stop me before I scan again!

Julie and I threw our own wedding, keeping it as simple as possible, and our friends presented us with a money tree at the reception that helped ease the crunch.

We did dinner theater that summer and had a performance the night of the wedding.  Julie and I sang a duet on "I Remember It Well" from Gigi.

At intermission, we celebrated birthdays and anniversaries of audience members, complete with singing and a free deep-fried ice cream.  Our wedding day, July 30, 1983, also happened to be my grandmother's 72nd (?) birthday, and even in frail health she managed to get onstage for her serenade (and ice cream).

And a couple of favorites.  Below is a video capture of John at age 3...

...and with my dad in La Conner (northwest of us, home of Tom Robbins and tulips), around 1994.  Looks like John is trying to imitate Grandpa's gut.
